Anam Cara Supporting Bereavement Parents & Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice Bereavement Support event

Anam Cara Supporting Bereavement Parents and Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice Bereavement Support event – 26th January 2021

There is an upcoming online bereavement support event for parents who have experienced the death of their son or daughter. This is taking place on Tuesday 26th January from 7.15pm – 9.00pm via the Zoom Platform.

This support evening is open to all bereaved parents and will give them a chance, in these very difficult times, to hear an bereavement specialist talk about parental grief, its challenges and milestones along with ideas of what helps parents cope and what does not.

After the talk parents will have the option, to gather in a smaller group in one of the facilitated breakout rooms. Here, they will be able to get more information about the bereavement support service that is most relevant to them. They will also have a chance to chat informally to other bereaved mothers and fathers who understand the intense grief, loss and isolation that follows the death of a child

We would be grateful if you could pass on the information on to any bereaved parents you may be in contact with, regardless of the age of their child or the circumstances of their death. Please note that this online event is open to bereaved parents only.

We are asking parents to register their interest in attending this online event through this Eventbrite link https://bit.ly/3so06Uw .   The closing date for RSVP is Sunday 24th January 2021.
