Coca Cola Thank You Fund

The Fund was launched in 2011 to mark The Coca-Cola Company’s 125th anniversary and has run every year since.   Over the years the CocaCola Thank You Fund has supported projects including community, social and education programmes aimed at youth, promoting healthy and active lifestyles, and environmental leadership. To date €755,000 has been given to 56 non-profit organisations across the island of Ireland.
Scheme details
In 2017 The Fund is investing €100,000 for not-for-profit voluntary and charitable organisations working with communities in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland to inspire and support young people.
Who can apply?
In order to be eligible, your organisation must fulfil all of the following criteria:
(i) The organisation must be a not-for-profit, voluntary and/ or charitable organisation classified under one or more of the following headings: – Charitable organisation with a registered charity number working within a community – Voluntary organisation working within a community – Not-for-profit community organisation – A foundation or a trust for the benefit of a community
(ii) The organisation must submit details of a proposal which it will put in place if successful, which demonstrates the following – Working with communities in Ireland and Northern Ireland to inspire and support young people. (iii) The organisation must have been in operation for a minimum of 12 months prior to the date of submission of this application.
(iv) Proof of organisation’s operations must be made available to Coca-Cola Ireland if requested.
(v) Any individual applying on behalf of an organisation must be aged 18 years or older.
(vi) The proposed project must exclusively benefit people aged over twelve years of age and under twenty-five, and activities using money received from the Fund must be based on the island of Ireland.
(vii) The proposal must be for a NEW project. The funding is not for initiatives already up and running.
(viii) Applicants must be able to clearly demonstrate the innovative nature of the proposal
