Mapping

NICHI Officers meet regularly with community representatives to undertake an community mapping survey. The survey focuses on local needs, priorities and assets in relation to health and social wellbeing improvement.

These valuable discussions enable us to link communities with relevant resources and capacity building opportunities. The information collected is also shared with statutory agencies, such as PHA, and allows NICHI to better represent the voice of the community sector when seeking to influence public health strategy and action planning.
