The Disability Inclusion & Community Engagement Project
August 5, 2026The DI&CE (Disability Inclusion & Community Engagement) Project brings together staff and volunteers for a one-off training workshop with the aim to introduce and equip churches, community groups and faith-based organisations in how to be more inclusive of adults and young people with learning disabilities, autism and neurodivergent conditions.
We are hosting several workshops over the next year across Greater Belfast, Newtownabbey and North Down, with our next workshop in Glengormley!
Workshop Details:
Saturday 26th September
10am – 1pm (lunch included)
Glengormley Methodist Church Hall, Ballyclare Road, Glengormley, BT36 5ED
FREE – there’s no cost to attend, thanks to funding from the PEACEPLUS Changemakers Programme.
Each church will receive a FREE TOOLKIT (such as fidget spinners, noise cancelling headphones, resources and lots more!) to use in their programmes
Ideal training for staff and volunteers or those curious about helping those with a learning disability in their groups.
