The Forget-Me-Nots
March 20, 2023Did you know that singing is great for improving your brain activity, wellbeing and mood? Come along to our new singing group, the Forget-Me-Nots beginning this week (Thursday 23 March) at The Courtyard Theatre in Ballyearl 
We recognise and understand the power of music and the arts, particularly for those living with dementia, where music can stimulate emotions and memories and build relationships with carers 
To support the most vulnerable in our Borough, we have partnered with Live Music Now, to launch The Forget-Me-Nots; a brand-new singing group specifically tailored to older people and people living with dementia.
Beginning on 23 March 2023 and meeting every Thursday thereafter from 10.30am to 12pm, the Forget-Me-Nots, will be a warm, welcoming and supportive group for those who enjoy singing and meeting new people.
The group’s focus will be on fun, and no previous singing experience is necessary. Whilst carers are also welcome to join in the fun, they can also use this time to relax and unwind or make use of the facilities at the Ballyearl Leisure Centre next door to the theatre
