We were delighted to have a range of community groups represented at our NICHI Networking event which took place last night. These groups have been part of the NICHI Model Project. The groups came together to share ideas, network and to learn from each other.
The NICHI model process supports a number of community groups working towards addressing, local health and social wellbeing needs and issues.

Impact Network NI NICHI Best practice Networking visit
Impact Network current NICHI Model groups took part in a best practice visit on Wednesday 27th August 2025 to Ballyrobert Community gardens. The groups came together to network, share and learn about fantastic community initiatives.

Communities Improving Health NICHI Networking event February 2025
We are delighted to have a range of communities groups along on 5th February 2025 who have been part of the NICHI Model project.
The NICHI Model process provided support to a small number of communities who have identified, or are aspiring to work towards addressing, local health and social wellbeing needs and issues. The support will include assisting the community to identify local needs, to develop their ideas into an outcome-focussed action plan, to implement a monitoring and evaluation framework and to record and share the learning from their experiences.

Creating Healthy Communities Workshop 2024
NICHI Project Officers hosted โCreating Healthy Communitiesโ workshop in Bellaghy on Wednesday 20th November 2024, facilitated by Anna Clarke and funded by Public Health Agency. This workshop focussed on health literacy and social model of health with valuable time spent in groups looking at what can be done to improve the health of our communities in which we are a part of.
